Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulation and Updates

Flows of illicit money can damage the integrity, stability and reputation of the financial sector, and threaten the internal market of the Union as well as international development. Money laundering, terrorism financing and organised crime remain significant problems which should be addressed globally, but also at Union level.

International efforts are made to the fight of money laundering. The European Union has issued up to date 6 Anti-money laundering directives that Member States are required to transpose the relevant directives in their national legislation. The program will cover the main updates of the 4th, 5th and 6th AML directives and will equip the participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform customer risk assessments and apply appropriate Customer Due Diligence measures taking into account the money laundering and terrorist financing risk associated with the type of client.

Training Style

CPD Recognition
This programme may be approved for up to 5 CPD units in AML and Financial Regulation. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by your association, regulator or other bodies which you hold membership.

The Association of Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) has confirmed that this programme is accredited for 5 CAMS Credits. Participation in this course does not substitute the requirement to earn (12) ACAMS credits through ACAMS produced training for CAMS recertification.
